Today I will show you what I like to call the Bakers Dozen of mobile marketing with MovyloShop. There are 12 different starting points for marketing your mobile store plus you can create coupon codes for customers to use at check out, alas the bakers dozen of mobile marketing. Include the six differnet ways to promote mobile deals (SMS/Text, Email, URL, QRCode, Facebook and Twitter) and you have 78 different mobile marketing options with MovyloShop.
Some of these marketing opportunities will only be avilable once your store has been open a while. This article gives you an brief overview of all of the various marketing opportunities available in Movyloshop. We will add more articles later explaining each marketing opportunity in greater detail.
Create a coupon – Here you can create a downloadable coupon similar to all those daily deals. You are creating a Coupon for your customers. Once the Coupon is published they will be able to purchase it via mobile. After they have purchased the Special Coupon Deal they will receive it both via mobile AND via mail, to be printed and shown at your store. You set the rules of redemption and best of all you keep all your profits!
Promote your store – Here you can promote your store. This is a way to let everyone know you have a new mobile store.
Promote a product – You can choose a single product from your inventory and create a dedicated and tailored promotion. By doing so MovyloShop will generate a promotional landing page with the characteristics you chose. This will not modify the product itself and will only be available to those receiving this promotion.
Deal of the Day – You can choose a product and make it The Deal of the Day: it will last 24 hours from the moment in which you started the promotion. By doing so MovyloShop will generate a promotional landing page with the characteristics you chose. This again will not modify the product itself and will only be available to those receiving this promotion: be sure to create an appealing promotion and give a strong discount!
Expiring In – Here you can promote products by giving an expiration to the discount. Limiting time for a promotion will help you get the best of impulse sales via mobile (i.e. imagine to create a campaign where your customers receive an SMS like "10% off, only for the next 2 hours, click here to buy". The promotions and discounts you set here will not affect the regular price of the store and will be available only to customers viewing this page. This is also the starting point if you want to create Flash Sales.
Last pieces in stock – You can choose to promote only the products that have limited availability in stock. You can set the number of items available and MovyloShop will group them in a single promotion. Usually you will need to track inventory for this to work.
Discount – You can choose to promote only the products with a discount higher than a certain thresold. When you set the discount, MovyloShop will aggregate all the products with such discount. If you have products set a 40% discount and you want to promote all of those products you set the thresold at 40% and every product 40% or higher will be promoted.
Super Deal – This promotion groups all the products you marked as "Super Deal". To modify the list go to the single product pages and select the products you want marked as a Super Deal. You have to mark products first before you can promote Super Deals.
Last arrivals – You can promote the last products arrived in your store. Just choose the number of last arrivals to display and create the promotion. This is a great way to alert customers to new items. Some people like to be the first to buy new items.
Best sellers – You can choose to promote your best selling items: set how many products you want to promote and MovyloShop will automatically aggregate your best selling items. This requires sales be made already. Once you have some mobile sales you will be able to use this promo.
Most gifted – You can choose to promote your most gifted items: set how many products you want to promote and MovyloShop will automatically aggregate your most gifted items. Again products have to be gifted to use this promo.
Most viewed – You can choose to promote your most viewed items: set how many products you want to promote and MovyloShop will automatically aggregate your most viewed items. A great way to encourage sales to highly viewed items. Give your clients a reason to stop looking and buy.
Promotional code – Here you can create a promotional coupon code. You can distribute it to your customers and they will be able to insert it and use it in the checkout phase to have a discount on the products they are buying (the discount is applied to the cart).
